The future of society is written in water, and water and wastewater professionals are a vital component of that future, especially for U.S. EPA's Office of Water.
Bruno Pigott took office as assistant administrator for the Office of Water in late February after the departure of former assistant administrator Radhika Fox, who moved to Xylem. Pigott has a 30 years history as a public servant and 20 of those years were spent with the Indiana Department of Environmental Management.
In this interview, he explains what his goals are for the Office of Water, his vision for the industry's future, and the actions EPA will take in the coming months and years to safeguard the most precious resource on Earth: water.
